![]() ![]() I am old so I have a "Old Senile Person" card that allows this. I did not want you to feel ignored, most of us here have no idea how to help. I used to have old network cards that would do that even when removed from the computer. You might also google "Windows / Show Hidden Devices" to make sure Hamachi-whatever did not leave behind old drivers/settings that continue to haunt you. Or maybe buy a new computer and hope it works there (that's a JOKE) II guess my other suggestion is try SYSTEM RESTORE to the last time it worked ok. I hope staff are working on a more goof proof setup. People say their 7 year old neighbor can do it so 'if you can't manage you must be stupid', but count me in the STUPID group because I think it takes an IT professional to do it "easy", and it took me three days. Later I found some quirks in our home router that I brute forced through, and finally EVERYTHING worked. Now I am afraid each day, I might be the next one here saying "it used to work then stopped." So you do not want me for networking advice. In the end the only thing that worked for me, was to do a SYSTEM RESTORE on the computer to set it back in time 12 hours (when my LAN version was last working) and then I could at least play again. At one point I got LAN-only working, and played merrily for a day, then I wanted to try harder to get a server that family/friends could access on the net, and I. And aybe a couple others. When I got the game it took me *days* to get running. Don t tell him I said it but I would try Bigsteve, for instance. I'd try sending private PMs to some of the posters who seem to know a lot about networking (I am not in that group). Have you tried switching around the generic/officlal Adventure
